Since June 2023, I have served as a Student Ambassador for The University of Alabama in Huntsville College of Arts, Humanities & Social Sciences. Final Exams and Mental Health

For this article, I interviewed local counselor James Desta to about the impact of final exam stress on college students’ mental health. I opened with my own experience navigating finals before incorporating Desta’s professional insights on approaching the season with self-compassion. This opportunity allowed me to exercise my interviewing and reporting skills while engaging with a subject I am passionate about as a psychology major.
